Top 61 War Movies

Here's my list of the Top war movies.  Generally, I've avoided movies where "the war" is a small part of the movie ( like GWTW or Dr. Zhivago) or movies about mass killing (Katyn, Killing Fields, etc.). However, I've relaxed that rule when the movie has a military setting: (From Here to Eternity or Sand Pebbles). Famous excluded movies?  Paths of Glory is too  unrealistic, Glory is a standard war movie with a black cast and  Battle of Algiers is more about politics than war.
